Interestingly, this screen does not fit the 6-inch opening of the IBC Tote. The screen is molded with a 955-micron stainless-steel mesh, which is designed to be cut out and dropped into place. This feature allows for a maximum flow rate of up to 2.9 gallons per second and minimizes splashing.
The screen is 8 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep, making it suitable for installation in the top of a rain barrel. This strategic placement helps to catch small roof grit and prevent creatures, both great and small, from entering the water source.
It's important to note that this screen does not fit the 6-inch opening of the IBC Tote, and users should be aware of this critical specification before making their purchase.
